[ 01 ] The Challenge & The Goal

Design a SaaS product that feels premium without feeling cold.

Zenlook needed more than a landing page — it needed a visual identity that could carry a whole product. The challenge was to build a brand and UX system that feels luxurious and trustworthy in the beauty-tech space, where design is part of the promise.

Create a cohesive visual identity and a high-converting SaaS landing page — one that communicates product value instantly, looks premium, and is ready to hand off to developers. AI was integrated throughout the visual exploration phase.

"In beauty-tech, the product has to look like it works before anyone clicks a button."

[ 02 ] Process

From direction to delivery

Before opening Figma, I spent time deep in research. I analysed competitors, mapped the conversion journey, and identified the core tension in beauty-tech SaaS: the product needs to feel premium before the user reads a single feature.

The most consistent finding: beauty professionals don't want more tools. They want fewer problems. This single insight drove every design decision that followed.

Step 01

Visual Direction

Moodboard, color palette, typography system. Brand personality definition.

Step 02

Brand Identity

Logo, visual language, brand guidelines.

Step 03

UX Architecture

Landing page structure, user flow, wireframes, conversion logic.

Step 04

UI Design

High-fidelity design, component library, developer handoff.

[ 03 ] Results

Built from zero, ready to launch

The collaboration resulted in a distinctive digital footprint that sets Zenlook apart in a crowded beauty-tech marketplace. The brand system, design language, and UI components give the team everything they need to grow — without starting from scratch every time.

[ 05 ] What I learned

Designing for service businesses taught me

01.

Beauty businesses don't need more features. They need fewer decisions.

02.

Brand and product aren't separate tracks. They're the same conversation.

03.

Automation isn't about saving time. It's about giving professionals their focus back.

04.

The best design decisions come from listening to people, not trends.

The design system I delivered allowed the Zenlook team to move fast after handoff — building new screens without reinventing the wheel. The landing page conversion exceeded their initial benchmark, and the brand identity was strong enough to drive organic growth on Instagram from day one.

But the metric that mattered most: beauty professionals who saw Zenlook for the first time said it felt like it was made for them.
